Tube Swaging
Permanently join pipes together through a no-waste cold process using high pressure and die pressing. Through this process, tubes can be flattened, notched, slotted, flanged, flared, or punched. We use this process to connect two or more tubes with a compressive force to permanently seal them together.
Tube swaging is beneficial when needing to create a system of tubing and pipes, or when needing to attach a variety of pipe fittings. This process can be applied to tubes made from a variety of metals including aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, steel, and titanium. Industries that benefit include aerospace, construction, medical, and military.
Tube Flaring
This is a process by which a funnel is formed at the end of a tube that perfectly matches the dimensions of a second tube fitted against it. The resulting product creates a tight seal between the two pieces, eliminating the need for a gasket. Once two tubes or tube components undergo the tube flaring process, gas and liquid can flow freely and securely through the components without the potential of leakage.
For pipes that receive excess use resulting in greater wear and tear, double lap flaring can be applied. This process is similar to producing a single flair but adds greater strength and durability to the finished product.
